Our partner and instructor Nick Samson has been licensed as a Public adjuster for over 26 years and is a top candidate across the country to represent some of the largest insurance claims resulting from Hurricanes and fires.
Mike previously ran Neighborhood Adjusters, one of the busiest public adjuster firms in the Midwest at its peak — handling thousands of claims every month.
Nick has personally adjusted claims exceeding $20 million, including the high-profile Second City Comedy Club fire that made national headlines.
Mike later launched a nationwide adjusting company, expanding coast to coast before selling his businesses in 2019. Mike and Nick were introduced to each other from their mutual first-party litigation lawyers in 2016 and quickly became a nationally recognized team in the competitive large-loss market.

What are the basic requirements for becoming a public adjuster?
To become a public adjuster, you must; have evidence of passing the state exam, submit an application to the State of Illinois, pay the $250 Application fee, evidence of financial responsibility in the form of a surety bond in the amount of $50,000.
